All major projects at Revesby Workers’ Club would begin with a poster that established the branding, graphical elements and key information to be communicated to customers. Once approved by the relevant department heads, I would break the poster down into its individual elements and animate them to create an approximately 30-second video designed to capture customers’ attention while they were in the club.
I would also adapt the artwork for other formats, resizing and rearranging the elements to create large-format displays and website advertisements.
Revesby Workers’ Club – Revesby Rewards
The Revesby Rewards design elements were used across multiple areas of the club, including membership application cards, newspaper advertisements and internal promotional artwork. This helped establish the rewards program as a key part of the club’s overall brand identity.
Video animation created with After Effects. The brief was to create the promotional video with light and atmosphere being the main graphical elements. I also created a guide video to help people use the newly implemented customer kiosks using After Effects.
Revesby Workers’ Club – Supersized Surprise Gambling Promotion
For this project, the RWC Marketing Department brainstormed the concept for the club’s latest major promotion. My colleague created the main artwork in Photoshop and InDesign, which I then recreated in 3ds Max. Using the Havok physics engine, I animated the graphical elements to create a realistic falling effect. I then composited and edited the final video using After Effects and Premiere.
Revesby Workers’ Club – Run Rabbit Run Gambling Promotion
My colleague initially created the Run Rabbit Run poster artwork, which I then broke down into its individual graphical elements to create a short animation in After Effects. I also adapted the artwork into a range of sizes and aspect ratios for different advertising formats, including large-format portrait posters and landscape versions for digital use.
