Holemaker Magnetic Base Drill and Annular Cutter Merchandiser
I designed the drawings for a multi-purpose display cabinet with a removable magnetic base drill display stand. As with all of my industrial design projects, the technical drawings included individual part drawings, sub-assemblies, full assembly and exploded views. I also created mock-up images to help communicate how the finished product would look to our customers. The below mock-up was from an early stage in the design process when the display cabinet had a white interior and wider bezels around the display window.
Drill Doctor Bench Top Display Merchandiser
Although the Drill Doctor range is highly versatile, its features and operation can be difficult for new customers to understand at first glance. To help demonstrate how the machines work, I designed a benchtop merchandiser incorporating an LCD screen to play product demonstration videos. I also created the accompanying labels and product range brochure, and edited the video content to suit the display.
The Drill Doctor Merchandiser was later redesigned to help reduce its cost and decrease its footprint. New graphics and brochure were part of this update.
Product Display Cabinets
I created the designs for a large product range merchandiser that could be used for several different product ranges. The merchandiser could be configured to sit on a bench top or to pegboard.
Merchandiser Range
Being an important strategy for getting ITM’s product range into retailers, the merchandiser range grew during my tenure at ITM. I designed various addons to the display stands, including more specialised solutions such as heavy duty welding clamp racks.
